Realizing a form of subject recruitment
through referrals from medical institutions
- Because referrals are made by physicians (partner sites), we are able to collect more reliable subject candidates than self-reported patient applications.
- Buzzreach enters into a contract with medical institutions (partner sites) located near the participating medical institution, and the partner sites refer candidates to us.
- Candidates are referred after a physician at the partner site verifies that they meet the referral criteria.
Partner site models can also be linked to StudyWorks
The partner site model can be used on a stand-alone basis to support subject recruitment, but for facilities that have already implemented StudyWorks, it can be used in conjunction with the management of in-house candidates and subjects, allowing for the management of patients referred from outside the hospital as a new clinical trial network that regularly accepts patient referrals from partner sites.
