Guidance and request for cooperation regarding the handling of clinical trial information when using the clinical trial support system “StudyWorks”
Dear Sir/Madam, We hope you are in good health and prosperity. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support .
Our clinical trial support system, “StudyWorks,” is used by many clinical trial medical institutions to streamline clinical trial operations and facilitate subject management.
It is also a platform that can be used for case accumulation and DCT support using partner sites.
To begin using this system, clinical trial sites must enter into a service agreement with the medical institution, which includes confidentiality requirements, and then provide us with clinical trial-related information, such as the clinical trial protocol, for system configuration purposes.
Recently, some clinical trial sponsors have pointed out that providing this information may violate the confidentiality obligations in the clinical trial contract between the clinical trial site and the sponsor. We
sincerely apologize for any concerns this may have caused .
We take confidentiality in clinical trial contracts very seriously. While we have entered into
a contract regarding the use of StudyWorks with the clinical trial site and are committed to the proper management and confidentiality of the information we receive, we have recognized the importance of creating an environment in which clinical trial sites can use StudyWorks smoothly without causing any concerns to the sponsor.
Therefore, we have requested that the clinical trial medical institution, when using StudyWorks to manage the clinical trial requested by your company, take care to handle information appropriately in accordance with the confidentiality clauses in the clinical trial contract concluded between the clinical trial medical institution and the sponsor.
We apologize for bothering you during your busy schedules, but we ask that you please understand the purpose of this notice and confirm and agree to it when you receive a contact from a clinical trial medical institution regarding StudyWorks. We
will handle the information entrusted to us with the utmost care and take all possible security measures. We will adhere to compliance and strive to contribute to the smooth operation of clinical trials, so we appreciate your continued understanding and cooperation.
