[Webinar Announcement] CRC Career Discovery Series Vol. 1 Launches! ~Shaping the Future of Work and Career Paths from the Front Lines of Specialized Hospitals~
Aichi Cancer Center will be speaking on June 5th at an event titled “The Choice of In-Hospital Clinical Research Coordinator: A Vision of the Future of Work from the Front Lines of a Specialized Hospital.”
Buzzreach Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takaki Inokawa) will launch a new webinar series, “CRC Career Discovery Series,” aimed at redefining the professional value of CRCs (Clinical Research Coordinators) and supporting their career development.
The first session will be held online on Friday, June 5, 2026, and will feature Dr. Hiroya Taniguchi, Head of the Clinical Trial Support Office in the Department of Drug Therapy, and active in-house CRCs from Aichi Cancer Center (Location: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture), a leading center for cancer treatment, as speakers.
■ Background of the Webinar
As clinical trials become more sophisticated and DCTs (distributed clinical trials) become more widespread, the role of CRCs (Clinical Research Coordinators) is becoming more complex, requiring higher levels of expertise and IT literacy. On the other hand, many CRCs have few opportunities to learn about initiatives at other institutions, and some are feeling anxious about their career paths.
Buzzreach has supported the efficiency of clinical trial operations through the provision of systems such as “StudyWorks(R),” but we believe that true revitalization of the industry requires the development of personnel who support the field and the sharing of knowledge, and that is why we planned this series. By sharing the unique working styles, “enjoyment,” and “reward” of each facility, we will support the career development of the next generation of Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs).
