Buzzreach and Taimei Intelligence have formed a strategic partnership to expand the number of international collaborative clinical trials held in Japan, spanning both Japan and China, and to build a foundation for promoting clinical trials.
Buzzreach Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo, CEO: Takaki Inokawa, hereinafter “Buzzreach”), which handles clinical trials and clinical trial support, and Taimei Intelligence Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shanghai, Co-founder & COO: Zibao Zhang, hereinafter “Taimei”) have entered into a strategic partnership. Through this partnership, the two companies will provide comprehensive solutions for multi-regional clinical trials (MRCTs) targeting Japan and China, accelerating new drug development for global pharmaceutical companies and biotech ventures.
The core of this initiative is to build a system that identifies suitable patients earlier, increases case accumulation with fewer clinical trial sites, and enrolls patients early in clinical trials.
By utilizing the AI platform “Trialnet” provided by Taimei subsidiary Shengxin Medical, we will achieve highly accurate and rapid patient enrollment based on patient data from over 400,000 people and a clinical network across China.
Meanwhile, Buzzreach is developing patient recruitment and clinical trial DX support services in Japan , utilizing regionally focused partner medical institutions . Based on its unique patient platform and partner medical institution network, it provides end-to-end services, from providing clinical trial information to regional medical institutions and patients, centered around clinical trial sites, to patient referrals and clinical trial implementation support.
Furthermore, by utilizing decentralized clinical trials (DCTs) and digital solutions, we have achieved greater efficiency in traditional clinical trial processes and improved patient access, and we have a robust implementation system and extensive operational track record in Japan.
This partnership will combine Buzzreach’s execution capabilities in Japan with Taimei’s data and technology infrastructure in China to build a new platform for international collaborative clinical trials spanning Japan and China, and to promote the attraction of clinical trials to Japan.
Through this partnership, we will provide the following value to pharmaceutical companies, biotech ventures, and medical device development ventures.
