Kiyoshi Aoyagi

Kiyoshi Aoyagi spent his childhood in South America and later studied Management Information Systems (MIS) in the United States. He began his career in Japan in 2003, and in 2005, he joined the founding team of Clinical Trial Company. In 2009, he became a director, overseeing operations with a focus on new user acquisition, call center management, and advertising.

In 2014, he was seconded to BBK Worldwide, a US-based patient recruitment company. In 2015, he established CROee US and served as the executive director for international operations, promoting patient recruitment in Japan to clients in the US, Europe, and Asia, and raising awareness about the patient recruitment culture. He also launched the Asia Patient Recruitment Organization (APRO), building a network for patient recruitment in Asia, particularly in China, Taiwan, and South Korea. His key connections include Asian patient recruitment agencies, around 50 US-based PRO companies, and local account managers at global CROs.
