Seminar title: Feasibility of data-driven clinical trials and clinical research using hospital big data and the latest technology, and the importance of patient recruitment – How to utilize case accumulation in clinical trials for hospital management –

Topic 1: “Juntendo Hospital’s latest technology initiatives leading to clinical trials and research – Utilizing the Metaverse and hospital big data” – Initiatives with IBM and future collaboration with 4DIN utilizing RWD

In recent years, the environment surrounding university hospitals has changed rapidly, calling for a new patient-centered, technology-driven medical environment. In response to this, Juntendo University Hospital is working on cutting-edge initiatives with various IT vendors, including those aimed at streamlining clinical trials and research. This seminar will feature presentations on the “Metaverse Hospital” initiative, which utilizes the metaverse space co-created with IBM, and the utilization of hospital RWD, which 4DIN is working on.

Topic 2 :
■ Introduction of 4DIN
■ Past efforts with Juntendo University Hospital using Simpl Research
■ Utilization for clinical trials and clinical research feasibility and demo

He will give a lecture with a demo on collaboration with academia using Simpl Research and its use in clinical trials and clinical research feasibility.

Topic 3 : Patient recruitment using data-driven feasibility – How important is it to manage valuable data through operations and connect it to case entry in the utilization of big data?

The use of generative AI and RWD has made it possible to achieve highly accurate feasibility and candidate selection in clinical trials and research using hospital big data. Beyond these technologies, how can we create a system that leverages valuable data all the way to case registration? As a patient recruitment specialist and recruitment manager, Mr. Ito will use his extensive experience with the partner site model to talk about how to connect the latest technology and valuable data to case registration.
